Today, this was covered in ice. Another central air mishap. :( And a hubby working a double overtime shift. Thank goodness for father-in-law, brother-in-law, and very helpful neighbors, they got it de-iced and working again for us. PHEW!

There was an obvious herbivore standing close by, hiding just out of sight of this monster. Lily wanted to see some action and kept whispering to the big guy and pointing to where the little one was. She takes after Daddy.

The Europeans have the cheese/fruit thing absolutely right! Gorgeous red plums from my Bountiful Basket & extra sharp cheddar. Match made in heaven.

Fence upgrade: neighbor felt this might be safer. I'm grateful. It separates us from the now two German Shepherds next door. Also, a feisty chihuahua.

Early birthday card came today from Grandma & Grandpa E. She was so excited and twirled around the house with it for about 30 minutes and then begged to go to the store "right now!"
