We took 1/2 day off work today and drove up into the mountians so Jason could hunt.  I didn't take any pictures though, because it wasn't the best of trips.  We saw no elk, no deer and we got stuck in the snow.  Luckily, someone pulled us out.  However, I did work on and finish these cute little shoes.  I have an addiction.  I'm fully aware.

Made this cute "trick-or-treat" bunting thanks to inspiration (and helpful jpgs) from my good friend Shelley...mine's not nearly as cute as hers...but I didn't spend a dime on anything new - just used stuff I already had!  Woo hoo for thrifty!

Recently found Pinterest and addicted doesn't begin to cover it.  Lily's behavior has been a bit difficult lately so I'm tyring to spend some extra time with her and be more patient.  Pinterest has given me a whole buncha fun ideas and tonight, we made cloud dough.  I have a strict no-play-doh rule in my house.  I can't stand the stuff.  But cloud dough was a nice change from stinky play-doh.  We had fun mixing it together and building "sand castles".  Lily was in cloud heaven and played in it for a good 45 minutes.  And the mess it made was worth the fun we had together.  ♥ my girl. :)

I cleaned out Lily's closet & drawers this weekend.  Found this beautiful thing at the back of her closet.  It was worn by my niece at my own wedding and it fits Lily perfectly now.  I wish we had an angelic weekend like it appears....she had her own idea of how long to wear this and twirl.

LAGOON Day!!! We got to go for my work's discounted day this summer and we had a blast! Jason was a trooper the whole day and we got to go with some other family and friends so everyone got a chance to ride everything they wanted to. Lily loved everything and I couldn't believe how brave she was. I was really impressed that she was able to make it through the entire day without much whining and NO NAP! Her favorite ride was Tidal Wave (just like her mama) and she was even tall enough for the new roller coaster Bombora. I am itching to go back...we still have a few days to "bounce back"! So maybe more "The Lagoon" pics soon? I hope so!

Had a FANTASTIC opportunity to go to a photography class tonight taught by a local photo studio - everything was incredibly cool. The presentation was very VERY helpful and I'm going to break out of my box and shoot manual more often - I keep telling myself, the more I try to shoot in manual, the more easy it will become. Right now I feel like I have to solve a very complex algebraic equation in order to take one simple shot. :)

Well I'm done with 1/3 the year - nothing terribly exciting - but documented just the same. :) This brought me particular happiness this week - being able to hang clothes to dry means my dryer doesn't have to work as hard and Jason's shirts stay 2XL. What? You don't shrink clothes?
